Venta Care Centre actively recruits, screens and trains our volunteers to assist in various recreational activities and special events. Volunteer involvement enriches the lives of the Resident, families and staff.
How do Volunteers fit in?
The role of volunteers is to enhance services to Residents by aiding staff to meet physical, mental, spiritual and social needs within the framework of the total care plan.

Requirements to Volunteer:
- No formal education required
- Successful completion of the application process
- Have fun, smile and make new friends
- Acceptance of all people regardless of beliefs
- Willingness to be part of the Venta Care Centre Family

- Visit with Residents (individual or in a group)
- Birthday Parties & other special events
- Portering to and from programs
- Musical Talents
- Be a Meal Time Companion
- Deliver Mail
- Bring your pet to visit (some restrictions)
