HEALTH CARE AIDES required for a busy client-orientated long-term care facility.
The successful candidate will demonstrate a positive work ethic, a passion for working with long-term care residents, a knowledge base in geriatric nursing, and strong communication skills.
A recognized certificate or diploma in Health Care Aide approved by the Alberta Government/Alberta Health Services and current registry in the Health Care Aide database is required. Experience in long-term care is an asset.
All new employees are required to provide a Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Persons, TB Chest X-Ray, and references.

Venta Care Centre actively recruits, screens and trains our volunteers to assist in various recreational activities and special events. Volunteer involvement enriches the lives of the Resident, families and staff.
The role of volunteers is to enhance services to Residents by aiding staff to meet physical, mental, spiritual and social needs within the framework of the total care plan.
